TAKE ME OUT TO THE PITCH SLAM

Thursday, June 13th | 5:00 - 6:30 pm ET (Doors open 4:30pm) | Metropolitan Pavilion (110 West 19th Street, New York, NY 10011)


In collaboration with Whole Foods Market, five New York City entrepreneurs will step on stage and pitch their product to a Whole Foods Market Category Merchants panel to propel their industry growth.


The Pitch Slam finalists selected will compete for a $150,000 prize package, including cash and services supported by 20 industry partners: BevNET, NOSH, SPINS, SG Credit Partners, NIQ, BeyondBrands, BeyondSKU, Rosenthal & Rosenthal, Honeycomb Credit, Kerry, Propeller Industries, Fairfield Partners, Foster Garvey, SIX60 Partners, Konnect Agency, New Hope Network, Specialty Food Association, FounderMade, Haven's Kitchen, JPG Resources, and receive potential placement at select Whole Foods Market locations.


Following the live pitch competition, the Grand Prize Winner will receive a prize package valued at $100,000, with a $25,000 cash award.

Additionally, the Audience Choice Winner will be honored with a prize package valued at $50,000, featuring a $10,000 cash prize.


The 2024 Pitch Slam Finalists are...


Brooklyn Best is an NYC-made, small-batch, lower-sugar iced tea and lemonade line featuring top flavors Peach "Arnold Palmer", organic peach and lemon juice, and all-natural tea.

Jack & Friends crafts food inclusive of different lifestyles and dietary restrictions without sacrificing nutrition - starting with Jackfruit Jerky which is vegan, top 9 allergen-free, and packed with up to 15 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber per bag with no added sugar.

The chosen finalists will have a critical three-minute window to captivate the judges with their pitch, presenting their specialty food and beverage products. They will be judged on the following criteria: presentation, storytelling abilities, innovation, social impact, branding, packaging, and market viability.
