He moved the business to New York City in 2010 and introduced Tacombi as a lively, authentic taqueria experience and limited service restaurant in downtown Manhattan.
Today Tacombi has locations in New York, Miami, Chicago and Washington, D.C., and is an omni-channel business, including eDelivery and a fast-growing CPG effort, Vista Hermosa. The Tacombi Foundation mirrors this growth by continuing to scale nationally, having donated over a million meals since 2020.
