Creating a world of good, one conscious business at a time. Our collective builds profitable businesses that benefit people and the planet. We are a team of industry veterans from the natural products industry. We love what we do, and the people and brands we work with. If you are looking to grow your brand, you've come to the right place.
Our story is one about farms, family, food, people and planet.
The country of Colombia is where GoodSam has its main supply chain. A country rich in history but also in violence and class division. Colombia has a bad reputation for guerrilla groups, narcotics and political violence. What we've seen, as a company, is a country of hard working and passionate people, biodiversity and family values. One where everyone is working to be paid a fair wage and expects neighbors and business to take care of each other and the Earth.
A ground zero for organic and regenerative farming efforts Colombia is the second most biodiverse country in the world, lagging only after Brazil which is approximately 7 times bigger. It has the highest rate of species by area unit worldwide and it has the largest number of endemisms (species that are not found naturally anywhere else) of any country on the planet. About 10% of the species of the Earth live in Colombia.
Jasberry is a social enterprise that aims to solve the problem of farmer poverty through innovative organic products with global appeal. Employing an inclusive business model, we partner with over 1,800 small-scale farmers in rural Thailand to grow Jasberry rice, a new variety of non-GMO wholegrain rice that is purple in color and extremely high in antioxidants. Jasberry markets Jasberry rice and Jasberry rice products as superfoods internationally. As a social business, Jasberry generated over US $1.8M in additional income and benefits for our farmers last year.
